Free books delivered monthly to children ages 0–5—building a stronger future, one story at a time.
We’re so glad you’re here.
Our mission is simple but powerful: to put high-quality, age-appropriate books into the hands of children from birth to age five—completely free of charge. Through the generosity of our community and partners, children receive a new book in the mail each month, building early literacy skills and a lifelong love of reading.
Together, we are investing in our children, supporting families, and strengthening the future of Pope and Yell Counties, one book at a time.

Why Early Literacy Matters
Children who are read to regularly hear up to one million more words before kindergarten than those who are not. This “million-word gap” directly impacts school readiness and long-term success.
In our region:
– 30% of adults read at or below a third-grade level
– Early reading is the foundation for lifelong learning, employment, and independence
Investing in early literacy is investing in the future of our community.
